Our Melaine jumper is knitted in a multicoloured blend of beige and purple yarns.

It is made from certified wool, alpaca wool and recycled nylon, in our certified partner workshop in China, with whom we have been working for 10 years. Together we have high ambitions for the environmental responsibility of our products.

Alpaca wool is a very high quality fibre. It is softer, warmer, stronger and lighter than sheep's wool. It is recognised as one of the finest fibres and is valued for its resilient, insulating and hypoallergenic properties. It is one of the most environmentally friendly wools because it consumes few resources and water and does not require chemical treatment, making it biodegradable.

We use recycled nylon for its elasticity and strength. It is an environmentally friendly alternative to nylon: this fibre is 100% recycled and recyclable, made from plastic waste collected in waste dumps and oceans.

The RWS® (Responsible Wool Standard), managed by the Textile Exchange organisation, guarantees the good treatment of wool but also animal welfare. It includes breeding, environmental and social requirements. The wool from these farms is identified and traceable and each site is certified.
