Our black Maelle t-shirt is knitted in a blend of organic cotton and wool. This composition gives it strength and durability. It is knitted in our partner workshop in China, with whom we have been working for 10 years. Together we pursue high ambitions for the eco-responsibility of our products.
Wool is a natural material with thermoregulatory and resistant properties. Known for its softness, comfort and lightness, it is very pleasant to wear and guarantees long-lasting clothes.
We use organic cotton because its culture is more ecological and ethical. From the seed to the flower harvest, organic cotton is grown without pesticides, insecticides or chemical fertilizers, and without GMOs. Its cultivation consumes less water than conventional cotton.
It is GOTS® certified (Global Organic Textile Standard), the standard certification for organic clothing. It certifies a minimum of 70% or 95% certified organic material, and carries high environmental, social and sanitary requirements throughout the production chain. Learn more about our certifications.
