Our Danielam T-shirt is made of 55% Linen and 45% Modal®. Linen is a natural and ecological material because it uses less water and pesticides.
Modal® (similar to Tencel® and Lyocell®) is an ecological fiber created from wood pulp (beech), which has a low environmental impact because it is produced in a process where materials are constantly recycled, purified and reused. This ecological man-made fiber is a substitute for viscose which is more environmentally friendly. Our Modal bears the Lenzing® label (the name of the Austrian company that produces this material) which guarantees that the wood used comes from sustainable forests, certified FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) or PEFC (Pan European Forest Certification). Lenzing follows strict standards imposed by the EU Eco Label to ensure a low environmental impact throughout the production chain of this fiber.
This linen / Modal® blend gives it softness, lightness to wear and great breathability.
